SpeakSpeare
Project Overview
SpeakSpeare is a unique language tool that transforms modern English text into authentic Shakespearean-style prose or poetry. It uses advanced natural language processing techniques to not only replace modern words with period-appropriate equivalents but also restructure sentences in the distinctive syntax and style of Elizabethan English.
The tool offers multiple "inspiration modes" based on different Shakespearean works - users can choose to have their text transformed in the style of his tragedies, comedies, or sonnets. Each mode applies different linguistic patterns and vocabulary choices appropriate to that genre.
SpeakSpeare was developed using Next.js for the frontend with integration to OpenAI's language models, fine-tuned on a corpus of Shakespeare's complete works. The project demonstrates creative application of AI technologies for educational and entertainment purposes.
